These rules exist to protect roleplay quality, community safety, and server stability. By joining the city, you agree to follow all rules listed below — as well as any future rules added by Staff or Management.

1. 1. Respect All Players & Staff Every player must treat others with dignity and maturity. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, slurs, threats, doxxing, and hostile behavior are strictly prohibited.
2. 2. Follow All Staff Instructions When staff issue a direction (stop RP, join a ticket, provide clips, move locations, end a scene), you must comply. Failure to follow staff direction will result in punishment.
3. 3. No VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch) Vehicles may not be used as weapons without justified RP and escalation. Running people over, random ramming, or driving into shootouts is not allowed.
4. 4. No RDM (Random Deathmatch) You may not injure or kill another player without story, escalation, and RP buildup.
5. 5. No Fail RP Actions must remain realistic and believable: no ignoring injuries, superhuman behavior, or lack of fear in dangerous situations.
6. 6. No Powergaming You may not force actions or outcomes on others with no chance to respond, or abuse mechanics to win scenes.
7. 7. No Metagaming Using OOC information IC (streams, Discord calls, IDs, chats) is forbidden. If your character didn’t learn it in RP, you may not act on it.
8. 8. Required Voice Protocol While in-city, you must use in-game VOIP or designated RP voice channels. Using external private calls for IC conversations is treated as metagaming.
9. 9. Theft of Emergency Vehicles Stealing police, fire, EMS, or government vehicles is absolutely prohibited and subject to severe punishment.
10. 10. No Stream Sniping Using a stream to locate, follow, or counter someone is a permanent ban.
11. 11. No Exploiting, Duping, or Modding Cheats, mod menus, injectors, dupes, or abuse of bugs are strictly forbidden. Report bugs immediately; do not exploit them.
12. 12. Fear RP Must Be Respected You must value your character’s life, especially when outnumbered or at gunpoint.
13. 13. No Combat Logging Leaving the game to avoid consequences (arrest, robbery, chase) is not allowed. If you crash, return and notify staff as soon as possible.
14. 14. No OOC Arguments in RP or Public Channels Handle conflicts through tickets, not in active scenes or public chats.
15. 15. No In-City Complaints / No Comparing Other Servers Neon Heights RP is not like other cities — by design. How another server handles weapons, police tactics, balance, or progression does not apply here unless explicitly stated by Neon Heights rules and systems.

    You may NOT break RP to argue mechanics, complain mid-scene, or compare how “another city” does things. This is considered Fail RP and OOC interference.

    • Do NOT say: “In random city that’s not how they do it.”
    • Do NOT say: “You pitted too fast — random city allows longer chases.”
    • Do NOT say: “You came at me with a level 3 weapon and I only had level 1 — that wouldn’t happen in random city.”

    Neon Heights is a learning city. Systems can evolve — but never in the middle of an active scene.

16. 16. ERP / Sexual Content Erotic RP is prohibited. Any sexual content involving minors or non-consensual themes is an instant permanent ban.
17. 17. Crime & Robbery Rules Criminal RP must be smart and story-driven, not spammy or grindy. No robbing new players, hostage farms, or constant random violence.
18. 18. Gang Rules Gangs must follow escalation, avoid random attacks on civilians, and keep wars justified and staff-reviewed when large scale.
19. 19. Police RP Rules Officers must follow SOPs, remain professional, and avoid power-tripping or targeting the same players unfairly. Corruption RP requires staff approval.
20. 20. Safe Zones Hospitals, PDs, City Hall, spawn areas, staff events, and training zones are no-crime areas.
21. 21. Griefing & Trolling We do not allow behavior intended to annoy, disrupt, or ruin RP (voice spam, following to harass, repeated ramming, etc.).
22. 22. No Political or Extremist RP RP involving hate groups, terrorism, or real-world politics is prohibited.
23. 23. Staff Decisions Are Final You may dispute respectfully via tickets, but may not harass staff or rally players against decisions.

1. Player Expectations

All players are expected to show professionalism and respect, tell realistic stories, understand and follow all rules, stay aware of how their RP affects others, and cooperate with staff at all times.

2. Character Creation Rules

Characters must be 18+ with realistic names and believable backstories. No minors, meme names, celebrity names, or political/extremist figures. Multiple characters may not share knowledge or help each other.

3. RP Standards & Expectations

Fear RP, value of life, and realism are mandatory. No fail RP, powergaming, metagaming, or random RDM/VDM. Injuries and medical RP must be taken seriously.

4. Crime & Criminal RP

Crime must be story-driven, not grindy. Robberies and kidnappings require buildup and must avoid targeting new players or constant repetition. Emergency vehicle theft is never allowed. Gang RP must follow escalation and respect civilians.

5. Safe Zones

Hospitals, PDs, City Hall, spawn areas, staff events, and training zones are protected no-crime spaces.

6. Communication Expectations

Players must have a working mic, remain in-character during RP, use appropriate channels, and avoid using external calls or Discords for IC communication.

7. Undocumented Situations

If something happens that is not covered in the handbook, staff will review, make a fair decision, and update the rules. Players must follow those decisions as they are made.

Discord is the heart of communication for 68 Gaming. To keep things professional, safe, and organized, all members must follow these rules at all times.

• No Political / Religious Debates Divisive topics are not allowed.
• No Exploit / Cheat Discussions Do not talk about glitches, dupes, or hacks in public; report them privately.

• Ticket System Rules Tickets are for real support, not for jokes or harassment. Lying or falsifying evidence may result in punishment.

• Impersonation is Forbidden Do not impersonate staff, developers, public figures, or other players.
